The objective of this policy is to raise awareness of discrimination and harassment issues in order to prevent and eliminate any form of discrimination, harassment, or unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that may cause a person to feel offended, humiliated, or intimidated.
Everyone who works for Dewpoint, as well as anyone with whom Dewpoint engages during business, has the right to be treated with respect, dignity, and fairness. Dewpoint has zero tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment. All complaints will be taken seriously and handled promptly, impartially, and with strict confidentiality. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where all individuals feel valued and protected.
Dewpoint will take disciplinary action against anyone who is found to be in breach of this policy.
Responsibility
A) The Directors have ultimate responsibility for ensuring Dewpoint is free of discrimination and harassment (including sexual harassment). Managers, Supervisors, all office staff, and employees are responsible for implementing this policy and to take immediate action to intercede and/or report whenever they witness any act of discrimination or harassment.
B) Managers and supervisors have a direct responsibility to ensure all employees and subcontractors are aware of this policy and adhere to it.
Our organisation will always encourage suggestions to improve our health and safety objectives and work towards creating a safe working environment.
This policy applies to all Dewpoint work sites and all employees and subcontractors; it is regularly communicated to all employees and subcontractors, is available to any interested party upon request and is reviewed annually for its on-going suitability.
This policy is reviewed annually or after any incident to ensure compliance with the Sexual Harassment Amendment Regulation 2024 and evolving best practices.
