MOBO Office Building – Tribune St, South Brisbane, Qld

Having been partnered by Hutchinson Builders over the last 2 years as the lead services contractor, Dewpoint are delighted to announce the practical completion of MOBO in the heart of Southbank. The building is a 12 Storey, 19,000 sqm “A Grade” office space, which includes a 280 sqm lobby/ café and a 1,300 sqm Rooftop Bar & Restaurant area overlooking the city. 

In order to achieve the high energy efficiency targets for the project, Dewpoint designed and installed a centralised low temperature VAV system with CO2 control and economy cycle strategies. High efficiency VSD screw chillers with a variable primary pumping system provide chilled water to the central AHU’s. In addition to the heat rejection for the chillers, the cooling towers also provide heat rejection for the tenant’s supplementary systems. The building is aiming to achieve a 5 Star NABERS rating.

This final product is a credit to the teams of Hutchinson’s, Dewpoint Group and all the other subcontractors who made this quality finish possible.
